About Steven W. Nelson

I am a real estate professional who specializes in residential real estate in Wake, Durham and Orange counties of North Carolina. Some of the cities in these counties include Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill, Cary, Apex, North Raleigh, Garner, Knightdale, and Holly Springs, just to name a few. I enjoy helping people find the home that they plan to raise their families or sell their homes that they have out-grown and need to move onto a new and better home.

With this said, I am much more than just a Realtor. I am originally from Kalamazoo and moved to South Carolina at 13. I graduated from Newberry High School and went onto Midlands Technical College and finally, earned my Bachelors from Stayer University.

While in college, I worked in retail and spent several years as a meat cutter. After college, I moved to Knightdale and got into the real estate business. I have been selling real estate for more than 8 years so I have the experience to help you find and get the best deal on your home.

I married my wife in May of 2006 and have enjoyed married life. We have no children, but do have a Minerature Schnauzer named Snicker.

From a professional standpoint, I am very active in my community as a member of Rotary(North Raleigh Chapter), an active member of the Capital City Club, Chair of the Young Executives at CCC, member of the Big Bad Ball committee at the CCC, and volunteer for the Jimmy V Celebrity Golf Tournament among many other activities.

Personally, I enjoy golf, football, hockey and virtually any spectator sport. I am a fan of classical music and musicals while enjoying nearly all forms of music.

If you would like to know more about me, please feel free to ask and I will be happy to tell you.
